About Me

Hello everyone, my name is Clinton and I am a CELTA certify teacher. I am from Toronto Ontario and I am excited to give you an overview about myself. I completed my CELTA at a Cambridge certify centre with a 120 hour of course work. I graduated from Carniege Mellon University, the University of Toronto, and the University of Guelph. I did a honors bachelor in biological sciences, masters in cellular, molecular medicine and master in bioinformatics respectively. Currently, I am pursuing a teaching adult certificate at Durham College. I have been teaching ESL for three years and I am still improving my student's speaking skill through different types of activities. I focus on keeping my students motivated and eager to learn new concepts. I also tried to summarize the main points before and after the class to ensure my students retain what they learn.
